Julian Marquez: Kimura Trap Attack From Single Leg
From my single leg attempt Julian locks in the kimura grip on the far arm and sits back with it.
Once Julian is on his back with me on top he breaks my grip by kicking the leg that I’m holding.
Now that Julian has broken my grip he pushes my hand into my hip allowing me to turn towards his head, I’m attempting to come on top and am exposing my back.
Now that my back is exposed Julian walks his hips towards mine and gets his first (top) hook in.
Now that my back is under Julian’s control he peels me to my other side and finishes with two hooks and a 2 on 1 grip. Next Julian will start to attack my neck.
Another option is when I turn to my elbow. Julian brings his hips up and captures my head to set up the armbar.
Once the armbar is set and my head is captured Julian knocks me over and throws his second leg over my chest to gain extra control.
