Once the leg is captured I’ll drive into Sean forcing his leg off the mat. I’ll then pull his head towards the mat and then will ‘run the pipe’ towards his head.

Set-ups / Entries

Here I’m breaking Sean’s collar grip and then getting the same-side collar grip that I want to do the Single-Leg takedown.

Now instead of breaking the grip I’m swimming to the inside of Sean’s grip and am immediately attacking the target leg.

Variation Finishes

One variation is grabbing the pants instead of hugging Sean’s leg. We’ll then lift Sean’s leg above his hips while bringing his head low. Think steering a big bus wheel.

This variation is when Sean has his leg on the outside of my hips. In this situation I’ll do an inside trip. Be careful not to reach too far with your leg.
